Famed conjoined twins Abby and Brittany Hensel, stars of TLC‘s Abby & Brittany, were spotted on an errand run in a small Minnesota town, carrying around a baby.

Abby and Brittany, 35, loaded a newborn secured in a black and tan car seat into a Tesla in Arden Hills, Minnesota, on Thursday, August 14, in photos obtained by TMZ. The twins, who were dressed casually, safely secured the baby in the back before closing the door.

In the new photos, the twins, who give fans glimpses into their lives on TikTok and other social media accounts, put a folded-in stroller in the trunk of the car. Their relationship to the child is unclear, the report noted.

Abby and Brittany sparked conversation online last year when it was revealed Abby married Josh Bowlin in 2021. Many wondered how the dynamics of their relationship worked. The twins fired back at haters with a series of TikTok videos.

One video included a photo of Abby, Brittany and Josh together with a caption that read, “This Is a Message To All the Haters Out There. If You Don’t Like What I Do But You Watch Everything I’m Doing You’re Still a Fan.”

Abby and Brittany previously expressed interest in having children in the 2006 documentary Joined For Life. Abby is already a stepmother to Josh’s daughter from a previous relationship.

The sisters also previously revealed how they get around town in a scene from their TLC show, Abby & Brittany, in 2012. “We have two licenses and when we got our driver’s license we each had to take the test and we both passed,” they shared at the time.

“When we drive, Abby is control of the gas and the brakes, and we both steer, and I’m in charge of the blinker,” Brittany added.

The show dived deep into their unique journey as dicephalus conjoined twins, having two heads but one torso. Although they share blood circulation, Abby and Brittany each have their own distinct upper body systems, and their brains and spinal cords “function independently.”

The twins were born in their native Minnesota in 1990, and their parents, Patty and Mike Hensel, decided against surgery to separate them due to the procedure’s potential risks. Episodes of the TLC show showed their close bond, day-to-day life, job hunt, travels to Europe and more.

Before the reality TV show, fans got to learn more about the Hensels on the 2006 documentary Joined for Life, which aired on TLC. Since the show, Abby and Brittany have a low profile and work as fifth grade teachers.

It appears Abby and Bowling’s relationship is going strong, too. The twins shared an AI-generated clip of them all going skydiving via TikTok in June.

News of the couple’s marriage didn’t surface until March 2024 when a video of the couple’s first dance went viral. Today was the first to report on their nuptials after obtaining public records of their wedding.

Prior to ringing in the new year, Abby and Brittany posted a “2024 Replay” video via TikTok to reflect on some of their favorite memories of the year.

Among them was a photo of the twins eating ice cream with Bowling and his daughter, Isabella, and a throwback selfie with Bowling.
