2025 BMW Championship leaderboard live updates: Golf scores, Round 3 coverage as FedEx Cup Playoffs continue

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Moving Day has arrived at the 2025 BMW Championship as Robert MacIntyre seeks to again increase his lead over Scottie Scheffler and th erest of the 49-man field in the penultimate PGA Tour event of the season. The second leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs has gotten off to a somewhat-unexpected start with MacIntyre dominating Caves Valley Golf Club through 36 holes, but Round 3 has a unique moniker for a reason as tournaments frequently shift drastically as weekend action begins.

MacIntyre will be seeking to nurse his five-shot lead on the field with the world’s No. 1 golfer in Scheffler chief among the contenders breathing down his neck. Scheffler’s putter failed him a week ago in the playoff opener, but he’s played much better just outside Baltimore and sits closer to the lead this time around. Ludvig Åberg, Hideki Matsuyama and Tommy Fleetwood are among the others inside the to five entering Saturday, while Rory McIlroy likely comprises the furthest-behind legitimate chaser sitting 10 back of MacIntyre.
