Last week, Sony and Sucker Punch shared a brief video, highlighting one of the weapons you’ll get to wield in Ghost of Yotei when it launches in October.
That first video was about the kusarigama, and now, we have a brief video about the yari — a spear type weapon that forms part of Atsu’s arsenal.
It looks no less violent of course, but you’ll be at a safer distance, able to charge enemies and impale them from range. Atsu uses the yari to take out a group of goons on a bridge in about 30 seconds — brutal efficiency.
We expect the rest of the main weapon types will get similar videos as well. In addition to the two weapons already featured, there are dual swords, odachi, and the standard katana still to be seen in this format.
On top of that, we know Atsu will have some ranged options too, so maybe those will get their own video as well.
