Cody Rhodes Unable To Walk Without Assistance After WWE SmackDown

Cody Rhodes struggled to walk following the main event of WWE SmackDown.

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown ended with a blockbuster main event. In a tag team match, Cody Rhodes teamed up with his SummerSlam opponent, John Cena, and faced the duo of Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre.

It had all the requirements to be an epic match. However, it ended in a disqualification after Cena was taken out with a low blow. What followed was nothing short of a brutal attack that left The American Nightmare sprawled on the floor and, later, struggling to walk.

In a video that is now doing the rounds on X, Rhodes can be seen needing assistance to exit the arena. He seemed to walk with a limp and needed the help of an official. All, just moments after taking a nasty Claymore through the announce table from McIntyre.

As of this moment, there has been no update on Rhodes and whether or not he has picked up an injury after that brutal assault. Hopefully, there is nothing to be worried about.

Drew McIntyre has his eye on Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship

Speaking of the attack, it’s clear to see that there was a motive behind it. Following his success at SummerSlam, it would seem as though Drew McIntyre now has his sights set on getting back into the world title picture.

After he hit the Claymore, the Scottish Warrior took hold of Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship. He eyed the title, making it pretty clear that he wants the title around his waist. With that in mind, it will be interesting to see what McIntyre does next.

Moreover, it will be interesting to see how The American Nightmare responds to this brutal attack in the coming weeks.
