AirPods 4, 1TB M4 iPad Pro, 24GB M3 MacBook Air, more 9to5Mac

Today’s 9to5Toys Lunch Break is starting off with the most affordable current-generation AirPods 4 back down at $99 alongside some exclusive iPad deals for 9to5 readers – 13-inch M2 iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cell at $299 off and a giant $500+ off Apple’s 1TB M4 iPad Pro. We also have the return of the 32GB M2 Max Mac Studio at $900 off the original price and a notable discount on the 24GB M3 MacBook Air at $450 off the list price – M4 models are still starting from $799 as well. Everything else awaits below.

AirPods 4 now starting within $10 of Prime Day low at $99 shipped via Amazon, more

Last month’s Prime Day festivities delivered some notable discounts on the latest AirPods 4, as well as a new all-time low on AirPods Pro 2. While pricing isn’t quite as low now, Amazon is currently offering the most affordable of the current-generation models down at $99 shipped, which lands within $10 of the Prime Day low.

If you happened to have missed out on the Prime Day offer at $89 (it quickly jumped up to $90 thereafter), today’s deal lands on par with the best we have tracked on Amazon otherwise and gives folks, at the very least, another shot at landing a new set for the summer at a discount.

We are, of course, talking about the AirPods 4 base model without the active noise cancellation tech, but there are some discounts, albeit not as good as we saw last month, on both the AirPods 4 with ANC and AirPods Pro 2 right now at well below the list price you’ll pay at the Apple Store – the AirPods 4 ANC fell to $119 for Prime Day and the AirPods Pro 2 landed at the $149 low:

You can, of course, get all of the latest and news on Apple’s AirPods business and new features over at 9to5Mac, including rumors and leaked details on the potentially upcoming new sets:

Amazon now has 24GB M3 MacBook Air at $450 off the list price ($150+ under a discounted M4 model)

As the particularly notable $200 price drops continue on Apple’s latest M4 MacBook Air lineup with deals from $799 shipped, Amazon is also now serving up a particularly notable deal on the M3. More specifically you’ll find the 15-inch 24GB M3 MacBook Air sitting down at $1,249 shipped – that’s $350 under the price of the M4.

While you can score latest 24GB M4 15-inch down at $1,399 shipped right now in all four colors, that model typically carries a regular price tag at $1,599.

And just to put the deal price into perspective further, Apple got rid of the 8GB tiers on the MacBook Air (and other models) last year, which resulted in an effective price drop across the lineup. The 24GB model we are featuring here today carried an original list price at $1,899, before falling to $1,699 thereafter.

This means you’re paying $650 less than this machine originally went for last September, $450 less than it sold for after the RAM bump, and $350 under the price of the M4 model that released earlier this year.

While the M3 is not the newer M4, it is now roughly $150 less than the lowest price we have tracked on the latest model and delivers some serious value with a deal like this. Previous-gen machines aren’t for everyone, but the M3 is still a compelling option, especially with the 24GB of RAM to back it up.

Exclusive: 13-inch M2 iPad Air Wi-Fi + Cell now $650 for 9to5 readers (Reg. $949)

Alongside the ongoing exclusive discount we have secured on the M4 iPad Pro for 9to5 readers, today we have another special promotion just for you. This time we are focusing in on the iPad Air with the Wi-Fi + Cell M2 13-inch model at nearly $300 off the list price.

We have teamed up with authorized Apple dealer Expercom to deliver 128GB 13-inch M2 iPad Air with the Wi-Fi + Cell upgrade down at $650.07 shipped. All of you have to do to land this special price is follow through to the listing via our links.

This configuration carries a $949 list price and is currently on sale in select colors down at $699 via Expercom’s Amazon storefront. However, clicking through our links and heading straight to the Expercom site instead will deliver the even lower price.

This is easily among the best prices this config has ever been offered for online – Amazon has never sold it for less than $699.

While the newer M3 did release earlier this year, it has yet to see any deals as low as we have here today, and likely won’t for quite some time considering Amazon hasn’t even offered the M2 this low yet. As of right now, the most affordable 128GB 13-inch model has never dropped below the $679 we tracked for Prime Day and the M3 Wi-Fi + Cell variant is yet to fall under $829.

The M2 is clearly not the M3, but the difference isn’t particularly glaring either. It is a more powerful chip than the M2, but not by a whole lot when it comes to practical day-to-day application and the two generations of iPad Air looking nearly identical.

Scoop up Apple Watch Series 10 this summer via Amazon for $100 less than the Apple Store

Amazon is now offering a host of various Apple Watch Series 10 configurations at $100 off the list prices, including both the 42mm and 46mm case sizes. Joining a host of band styles and colors, pricing is now starting off at $299 shipped on the smaller models and $329 on the 46mm. All of the details await below below.

Last month’s Prime Day festivities ushered in new all-time lows on much of the current-generation Series 10 lineup. This resulted in $120 price drops landing across most of the configurations and deals that have not reappeared since.

That said, if you happened to have missed out on those offers, landing a current Apple wearable at $100 less than it would cost you popping into your local Apple Store is still a pretty sweet deal if you ask me – the second-best price to date on most of the base configs.

We might see deals for less as we move towards the September Apple keynote and the Black Friday deal season, but if you’re looking to scoop one up on for the remainder of the summer, you can do so at $100 off right now:

Chances are we are not much more than a month away from Apple Watch Series 11, or whatever Apple has in store next, but you’re also not going to be landing one of those without a trade-in at $100 off anytime soon at this point. It took until well into 2025 before we saw full-on $100 discounts hit the Series 10 lineup, and this might very well be the case for the next lot.

Still live: One of the best prices ever on 24GB M4 Mac mini at $699 + 48GB and 64GB models at $200 off

After seeing a notable B&H deal on the M4 Max Mac Studio this morning, the authorized Apple dealer has some particularly interesting deals on the much more affordable M4 Mac mini lineup today as well. One of the ways B&H manages to separate itself from the likes of Amazon and Best Buy is by offering unique and, in today’s case, value-packed configurations on current-generation Apple gear – today we have one of the lowest prices ever on a 24GB M4 Mac mini because of it, alongside up to $200 off higher-end configs. Details below.

Before we dive in here, I just want to quickly reiterate that these configurations are not unauthorized Frankenstein setups – they are all official custom configurations you could setup during checkout straight from Apple, just at much lower prices. They all come with the same warranty and are in brand new condition.

Let’s start out with the most affordable of the bunch.

While you can score the base 16GB/256GB model on Amazon at $539 right now, we have seen that one down at $499 a number of times. B&H is, however, offering a unique deal today – the 24GB model with the 256GB internal SSD at $699 shipped. Amazon doesn’t even offer this configuration and the only 24GB M4 Mac mini it does have also lands with a 512GB SSD that has never sold for less than $830.

That means the B&H config up for grabs here today is the lowest price we have ever tracked for a M4 Mac mini with 24GB of RAM online. If you’re anything like me you’ll value the RAM over the internal storage and might make this offer quite the enticing proposition.

And if you’re in for a higher-end machine with some serious upgrades in the RAM department, B&H has deals flying right now on a number of upgraded M4 Mac mini setups – think of these as power user or creative professional machines for folks who don’t want to pay the Mac Studio tax on comparable RAM/storage configs.
