Halo Infinite Fall Update 2025 Launches This Week, And It's Packed With 'Major Game Updates'

Halo Infinite is officially kicking off its Fall 2025 update this week in the form of Operation: Shadows on August 5th, which is introducing loads of “major game updates” including new maps, a new vehicle, Forge updates and more.

Specifically, the new vehicle is the Falcon (being added to a new Famished Famished Falcons playlist along with a selection of BTB maps), a new weapon is the Vestige Carbine, the two new maps are Lattice (an “arctic arena”) and Serenity (a homage to Halo 2‘s Sanctuary), Forge is adding features such as new radial menus, custom input mapping and a massive messaging overhaul, and both Firefight and S&D Extraction are getting key improvements as well.

This is just the tip of the iceberg – the full list of changes is detailed on the official Halo Waypoint website.

Here’s an at-a-glance view of the major features in this new update:

As mentioned, this update is set to go live on August 5th, so we’ll all be able to check it out this Tuesday.

Then, the plan is to release Operation: Warpath as part of the Halo Infinite Fall Update 2025 on September 9th, adding “new armor sets, new modes, and plenty of heroic moments”, along with Operation: Halloween II on October 7th.

Halo Studios tells us to stay tuned for more info on those latter two Operations, set to feature “valiant heroes, haunting experiences, and a few surprises to help finish out the season”.
