During Evo 2025, the gameplay trailer for Lucy in Guilty Gear Strive was revealed. She’s the fourth character in Season Pass 4. She’ll be released on August 21, 2025, just a little over three weeks away.
Lucy is from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime series that ran on Netflix in 2022, but also features a number of references to the Cyberpunk 2077 video game.
For example, Lucy is shown to access to Cyberpunk 2077’s quickhack menu during her gameplay, as she’s performing a combo on Venom.
A lot of Lucy’s attacks are built around her monowire, which should give her quite a bit of range and ability.

Version 2.00 of Guilty Gear Strive, a new version of the game, will be released sometime in 2026 and it will offer new characters as well.
The developers said a new chapter begins then, but additional details were not available at this time.
During the presentation for Lucy’s trailer, Ken Miyauchi, the producer of Guilty Gear Strive said the game had achieved over 3.5 million players.

Lucy is the final character for Season 4 of Guilty Gear Strive, which completes the lineup that was announced back in 2024.
