Orlando Bloom is reacting to reports that ex Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are dating.
Satire website The Onion published a fictional article on Friday (August 1) that claimed Orlando is dating former German chancellor Angela Merkel on the heels of the 40-year-old “Teenage Dream” singer and the 53-year-old former Canadian Prime Minister’s own rumored romance.
“Just weeks after announcing his split with fiancée Katy Perry, English actor Orlando Bloom was photographed Friday dining with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel,” an Instagram caption read. “‘Angela kept Orlando laughing all night — he couldn’t keep his eyes off her!’ said an insider source who spotted the pair sipping wine, slurping oysters and splitting a decadent piece of chocolate layer cake at a Michelin-starred restaurant.”
The post came with an AI image of Orlando sitting across from the 71-year-old politician at a candlelit table.
