Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is getting multiple physical editions for PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Switch. The collection–er, Kollection–has a Day 1 Edition, a Deluxe Edition with a steelbook case and a bunch of other extras, and a Kollector’s Edition that’s only available to preorder for a limited time. And given the popularity of the franchise, the Deluxe Edition–which is loaded with kollectibles–could sell out ahead of its December 12 launch.
The Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is up for preorder at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, and Atari, and Limited Run Games. Notably, the Nintendo Switch 2 physical editions cost $10 more than on PS5 and Nintendo Switch. The silver lining here is that unlike the vast majority of third-party games for Nintendo’s new console, Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection has all of the games on the Game Card; it’s not a Game-Key Card. This is a true Switch 2 physical edition, which is great for kollectors.
