Paralyzed Sheep Driving Motorized Wheelchair for First Time Has Everyone in Awe

Paralyzed Sheep Driving Motorized Wheelchair for First Time Has Everyone in Awe originally appeared on Parade Pets.

Animals born paralyzed deserve every chance to enjoy life on their own terms. Just because they have obstacles to overcome doesn’t mean anyone should underestimate the power of the right mindset, a little determination, and a lot of resilience. If anything, these sweethearts could teach us a thing or two about thriving in the face of adversity.

All these things were proven when paralyzed Sheep, Kiki, took her motorized wheelchair out for a spin for the first time, with awe-inspiring results.

As explained in the caption shared by @ziggysrefuge, it only took the incredibly smart Kiki less than an hour to figure out how to steer her wheelchair by herself. Seriously, 60 minutes is all that stood between this sweet Sheep and freedom. With her new wheels, she can’t be stopped!

Born paralyzed from a neurological virus she contracted in utero, Kiki’s lived a life with altered brain function and seizures. Being “special needs” only strengthened this intelligent girl’s resolve to not just live, but show the world what she’s (and others like her) capable of.

She’s now the first farm animal EVER to drive a vehicle! Much of it is thanks to her caregivers, who’ve helped her overcome a lot.

“She’s spent her life playing with children’s toys, light-up games, and interactive puzzles, and it’s helped her learn English, recognize full sentences, and understand everything her family tells her,” the caption added.

This is such a feel-good piece of content that has thousands of people cheering Kiki on, me included.

“THIS IS DANGEROUS!!! Kiki could learn how to drive professionally and start an F1 career, become a successful driver, and have to travel 24/7 for cups,” one person joked.

“The tail wag does it for me,” another wrote. Another praised the amazing Sheep, adding, “Wow, she is an impressive little girl!!! And look how happy she is.”

To see more of Kiki zooming around the farm on her own volition, please go forth and enjoy this girl!

If Kiki is smart enough to learn how to drive a vehicle in one hour, what else can she do? This just goes to show that the best teachers in life are animals like her. Always hopeful and ever devoted to living life to the fullest — no matter how the odds are stacked against them.
