Browns rookie RB Quinshon Judkins released from jail on bond in domestic battery case; more details emerge

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was released from jail Sunday afternoon on $2,500 bond in his misdemeanor domestic battery case, according to court records obtained by CBS News in Miami.

Judkins was arrested on Saturday morning in Fort Lauderdale and spent the night in the Broward County Main Jail, according to the police report. During his bond hearing on Sunday afternoon, the judge found probable cause and ordered Judkins not to have contact with the victim, and no access to firearms. CBS News Miami saw him walk out of jail that afternoon.

According to the court records obtained by CBS Miami, the incident occurred on July 7 after the victim left the airport, but did not report it until Saturday. According to the records, the victim and Judkins came to South Florida “as friends,” but after the incident she stayed with him in Fort Lauderdale for five days and celebrated her birthday.
