With Pokémon Legends: Z-A now less than three months away, pre-orders for the game are in full swing. As is traditional for new Nintendo game releases, there’s a wide array of bonuses available for pre-ordering the game from the various retailers out there. It can be hard to decide which to order from, especially with the information getting drowned out amid other news about the game. Worry not however, as we’ve put together a list of the currently announced pre-order bonuses for Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
Walmart
For those who plan to purchase the game from Walmart, you can receive a pin of one of the three starter Pokémon as part of the order. The actual pin included is random between Chikorita, Tepig, and Totodile, and is exclusive to online pre-orders. Affiliate links for both the Switch and Switch 2 versions can be found below!
Best Buy
If pins aren’t your thing, then it might be worth checking out what Best Buy has in store. Online orders of Pokémon Legends: Z-A will come with a free gamer mat featuring the map of Lumiose City, which is listed as a $30 value. If this sounds up your alley, you can pre-order using our affiliate link!
GameStop
As of now, GameStop has not revealed any pre-order bonuses for Pokémon Legends: Z-A. That said, pre-orders for the game are still available, so if GameStop is your preferred retailer you can still pre-order the game just fine.
International Options
Those outside of the US have access to a handful of other options as well. Orders from the Nintendo UK store will include a figurine of all three starter Pokémon. For those in Japan, Amazon JP has a pre-order bonus that includes an in-game trenchcoat and a spoon and fork silverware set.
Early Purchase Bonus
Regardless of where you order from, a special early purchase bonus will be available in-game featuring a Ralts holding a Gardevoirite. Furthermore, digital pre-orders will receive a code for 100 PokéBalls that can be redeemed in-game as well. These offers will be available until February 28th, 2026, so make sure not to forget!
Hopefully seeing all of the options helps make a difficult choice a bit easier. Pokémon Legends: Z-A releases on both the Switch and the Switch 2 on October 16th, so make sure to get your pre-orders in before then! Many of these special bonuses are while supplies last, so if any of the options in particular seemed interesting then don’t wait too long to order.
