The Washington Commanders are back in Ashburn for the third day of training camp practices. Head coach Dan Quinn spoke to the media before practice and several players including Zach Ertz and Daron Payne spoke after.
Today was was a good day for the defense, and they let the offense know it. Jayden Daniels had his first three interceptions of training camp, with the first coming on a tipped pass, and one from a miscommunication that ended up in rookie CB Trey Amos’s hands, and his old friend Bobby Wagner got one too. Marcus Mariota also joined in with another pick to S Tyler Owens. Mike Sainristil was all over the field, and giving rookie WR Jaylin Lane a lesson on physical football.
