Rachel Griffin-Accurso, known as Ms. Rachel, wore a custom gown with a cape and train embroidered with artwork created by children in Gaza for the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2025 red carpet in New York City on Tuesday night.
The early childhood educator and YouTube creator wore a black and white dress crafted with custom creation, creative direction and styling by Risa Kostis. On the cape and train of the dress, colorful drawings by children from Gaza were delicately embellished into the fabric, with embroidery provided by L.W. Pearl Atelier. Tailoring for the dress was provided by Kaitlyn De La Cruz.

Over the white fabric of the dress, Griffin-Accurso showcased drawings of doves, landscapes and more. During the red carpet, Griffin-Accurso named the children who created the artwork, giving credit to Ahmed, Luna, Rama and more, all of whom Griffin-Accurso said she was “so honored” to have their “beautiful artwork” on her dress.
On the red carpet, Griffin-Accurso carried photos of the children holding their original artwork, highlighting the young artists who crafted the drawings embroidered into the Glamour Women of the Year 2025 awardee’s gown.

Inside the event, Griffin-Accurso spoke more about the significance of her dress. “Tonight, I am wearing this beautiful dress that has art from kids in Gaza. These kids are just amazing; they’re so thoughtful and so brilliant. I know all their names and stories,” she said. “I’m so proud of you. I’m so proud to wear your artwork.” Clips from the event were featured on the toddler learning video creator’s Instagram.
Griffin-Accurso’s makeup featured a natural visage, featuring artistry from Stephanie Powers. Her hair was styled in a slicked back ponytail by hair stylist Rosa Van. Griffin-Accurso opted for simple jewelry pieces, including a pair of delicate statement House of Witty earrings to complement the contemporary design of her custom dress.

Griffin-Accurso was among the honorees for Glamour’s 2025 Women of the Year Awards, which spotlights women from an array of industries and disciplines, honoring their contributions to culture, politics, sports and more. The event was held at New York City’s Plaza Hotel and featured notable honorees like Demi Moore, Tyla and Rachel Zegler, among others.
