Jarran Reed Active, Cooper Kupp Inactive For Seahawks’ Week 9 Game At Washington

LANDOVER, Md.—The Seahawks will have a key part of their defensive line for Sunday night game against the Commanders, as defensive tackle Jarran Reed, who was listed as questionable due to a wrist injury, is active.

The Seahawks will not, however, have starting receiver Cooper Kupp, who was also questionable for the game and is inactive due to a hamstring injury. Kupp is one of three receivers inactive due to injury along with Jake Bobo and Dareke Young, both of whom were ruled out on Friday.

With those receivers sidelined, the Seahawks elevated receivers Cody White and Ricky White III from the practice squad, and both are active. For Ricky White III, a rookie out of UNLV, Sunday game will mark his NFL debut.

Also active for Sunday’s game are cornerback Devon Witherspoon, who is returning from a knee injury that kept him out of five of the past six games, as well as outside linebacker Derick Hall, who missed the past two games with an oblique injury. Rookie fullback Robbie Ouzts is also active after spending the past four games on injured reserve due to an ankle injury. Also making his NFL debut will be rookie tight end Nick Kallerup, who is active for the first time this season.

On Saturday, the Seahawks placed safety Julian Love and tight end Eric Saubert on injured reserve, so they are also out for this game.
