After reports surfaced that Jelly Roll would participate in WWE SummerSlam, the match was more or less confirmed tonight.
During Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Jelly Roll took to the ring to perform, but was promptly interrupted by Logan Paul. He said he couldn’t stand phonies invading WWE, and said Jelly Roll was nothing but an outsider. The music star said that no one cared about Paul, and out came Randy Orton to join him.
Orton then proceeded to mock Paul and his credibility as a WWE star. Orton said that Paul was actually the outsider, but before he could say more, Drew McIntyre appeared and hit Orton with a Claymore. Security got in the ring, pulling Drew away.
In the ring, Paul began trying to attack Orton, but Jelly Roll stood up to Paul, and got him off. An irate Paul then began destroying Jelly Roll’s instruments. Although no match was made official, it seems safe to say these four will meet in the ring next month.
WWE SummerSlam is set to take place on August 2-3, 2025, and will be held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The fully updated card for the event includes:
- Undisputed WWE Championship: John Cena (c) vs. Cody Rhodes
- WWE Women’s Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs. TBD
- Jelly Roll & Randy Orton vs. Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul
