Battlefield Studios has announced that Battlefield 6 will be officially unveiled via a reveal trailer on July 24. The announcement also confirms the new game is indeed called Battlefield 6.
A teaser for the trailer shows four soldiers watching a city crumble and go up in flames. The four soldiers likely point to the return of Battlefield’s traditional class system in Battlefield 6, including Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon. The thumbnail image also shows a bridge bearing a resemblance to New York’s Brooklyn Bridge, along with a city surrounded by water.
Before this, Battlefield Studios announced an open beta for Battlefield 6. It remains to be seen when that might start, but it’s possible the game’s announcement event may have more information.

Battlefield Studios is the name of EA’s new development structure for the future of the Battlefield series. The Battlefield Studios banner is made up of developers DICE, Criterion Games, Motive Studio, and Ripple Effect, all of which are contributing to the series.
