OnePlus has confirmed one of the key specs of its upcoming OnePlus 15 flagship, with the phone set to house a massive 7,300 mAh battery.
In its latest teaser on Weibo, OnePlus has shared that the OnePlus 15 will have a 7,300 mAh battery inside.
That just sounds huge already, but it’s even more impressive when you put it into context. That’s roughly 40% larger than the Pixel 10 Pro XL’s 5,200 mAh battery, and 46% larger than the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 5,000 mAh battery. It’s nearly 22% larger than even the last-gen OnePlus 13, which already beat out the competition.
- OnePlus 15 vs OnePlus 13 – 22% larger
- OnePlus 15 vs Google Pixel 10 Pro XL – 40% larger
- OnePlus 15 vs Galaxy S25 Ultra – 46% larger
- OnePlus 15 vs iPhone 17 Pro Max – 51% larger
Of course, this larger battery is only such a drastic difference in markets such as the US. In China, 7,000+ mAh batteries have been relatively common with the latest launch cycle. But, in the US specifically, OnePlus will likely be the only brand offering such a huge battery for the foreseeable future.
OnePlus is calling this a “Glacier Battery” at least in China, and also touts that the device will offer both 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Designed for ultra-high-frame-rate gaming, the OnePlus 15 features a massive 7300mAh “Glacier Battery,” paired with the year’s only “120W Super Flash Charge” and “50W Wireless Flash Charge,” creating the ultimate power and battery life combination.
The OnePlus 15 is set to launch in China on October 27, and is expected to hit the global market not too long after that.
