Meghan Markle Highlights Lilibet’s Long Curly Red Hair in Intimate Moment

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s photos of their kids may be few and far between, but their rare social media cameos are always worth the wait—and show just how much the Sussex children are growing up. Just hours after Meghan and Harry made a PDA-packed outing at Project Healthy Minds World Mental Health Day Festival, the As Ever maven appeared to be missing her little ones as she gave her daughter Lilibet an empowering shout-out on Instagram. 

Princess Lilibet’s strawberry red curly hair took center stage in Markle’s Saturday, October 11 post, which showed the Suits alum’s mini-me joyfully running through some grass in Montecito, California. Set to The Temptations’ track “My Girl,” Markle’s International Day of the Girl post paid tribute to the four-year-old’s fearless energy while showing how tall Lili is getting. While wearing a pink long-sleeved shirt and cream pants with her long red ringlets styled in a low ponytail, Lilibet showed off her long legs while speeding through the yard towards some trees. 

In contrast to the high energy of the video clip, Markle illustrated a moment of contemplation with a rare mom-daughter moment of the two. In the photo, Lilibet’s red hair was worn in a half-up style that showed off its curly texture and striking strawberry blonde hue—a nod to fellow redhead, dad Prince Harry. As both Meghan and Lili stood barefoot on stones next to a small creek, the toddler paid homage to her favorite color with another pink outfit.

Holding her mom’s hand, Lili wore a hot pink T-shirt with light pink leggings and a patchwork hot pink hag in her other hand. Meanwhile, the Duchess of Sussex embraced a rich mom aesthetic, California edition, with an all-white look featuring a breezy blouse that was rolled up to her elbows and roomy white slacks. Styling her dark hair in a messy low bun, Meghan perched a pair of sunglasses on top of her head as she smiled and gazed down at her daughter.

“To all the girls – this world is yours. Do everything you can to protect your rights, use your voice, support each other. We will do the same for you,” Markle captioned the photo, adding, “It’s your right and our responsibility. Go get ‘em girl. Happy International Day of the Girl.”
