Not much was altered on the Cardinals’ injury report on Thursday as the team prepares to face the Colts. With quarterback Kyler Murray (foot) not participating in consecutive practices, Friday’s designation will be important towards his game status. Same goes for Darius Robinson (pectoral) after missing his fifth straight practice.
If Murray is unable to play, Jacoby Brissett will be the starter.
The most notable news regarding Thursday’s practice was the appearance of cornerback Garrett Williams and defensive lineman Walter Nolen III. Williams, placed on injured reserve after a knee injury in Week 2, was working off to the side with trainers. Meanwhile, Nolen, who has been sidelined with a calf injury prior to training camp, was a spectator during practice.
The only change on Thursday’s report was punter Blake Gillikin (back) was added as a limited participant.
Offensive lineman Will Hernandez played the first four series against the Titans before exiting the game. Coach Jonathan Gannon mentioned that limited snaps was the plan for Hernandez. He’s listed as a limited participant, just as he has been since the Cardinals placed him on the 53-man roster.
Also limited on Thursday were cornerbacks Max Melton (hamstring) and Will Johnson (groin), offensive linemen Evan Brown (hamstring) and Jonah Williams (foot), linebackers Cody Simon (knee) and Mack Wilson Sr. (ankle), plus wide receiver Zay Jones (knee).
For the Colts, cornerback Kenny Moore II missed another practice due to the Achilles injury. Nose tackle Grover Stewart (bicep/NIR-rest) did not practice.
