JACKSONVILLE – Putting DUUUVAL on the map. The Jaguars got a huge 31-28 win over the well-respected Kansas City Chiefs under the national spotlight. With all eyes on Jacksonville, the team showed up when it mattered most. The Jaguars improve their Monday Night Football home record to 8-5.
From LB Devin Lloyd’s 99-yard interception return touchdown in the third quarter, to QB Trevor Lawrence’s two rushing touchdowns, to WR/DB Travis Hunter’s 44-yard reception and so much more, it was truly a sight to see.
Jacksonville has now won four of its first five games for the fifth time in franchise history (1997, 1998, 1999 and 2007). The team also improves to 3-0 at home for the first time since 2006. Head Coach Liam Coen became just the sixth head coach in the last 10 seasons (since 2016) to win at least four of his first five games as a head coach.
