Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty released from prison, attorney confirms

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty is no longer in federal custody, according to his attorney.

Lontrell Williams, a/k/a Pooh Shiesty was sentenced to five years and three months in prison in a Miami federal court back in April 2022.

Williams pleaded guilty to firearms and drug charges as part of a deal that dropped three other charges, according to the Associated Press.

According to Williams’ attorney, Bradford Cohen, Williams was released from prison on Monday after a combination of time served and good behavior.

Cohen says he’s always happy to see his clients released from prison and Lontrell is looking forward to getting back to the studio and making music again.
