After watching Taylor Swift show off her engagement ring from Travis Kelce during a string of interviews for The Life of a Showgirl, its designer, Kindred Lubeck, couldn’t hold back her excitement.
On Friday, Oct. 3, the founder of Artifex Fine Jewelry, 30, reshared a clip of Swift, 35, on the U.K. radio show, Heart Breakfast, gushing over her new bling, and captioned the Instagram Stories post, “Day made. Life made.”
In the clip, “The Fate of Ophelia” singer revealed that she’d been a fan of Lubeck’s work before Kelce, 36, popped the question.
“I had shown him a video, I just thought her stuff was so cool, I had shown him a video like a year and a half ago and he was just paying attention to everything it turns out because when I saw the ring I [gasped] … I was like, ‘I know who made this, I know who made this,’ and also, you listen to me!’ ” she said.

“It was like, you really know me. I didn’t know what I would want, but he did somehow, and that’s kind of a flex,” she added.
Swift’s so in love with her ring that she called it her “hardware upgrade” when asked about the engagement on The Graham Norton Show.
“I could just watch it like it’s a TV,” joked the Grammy winner as she looked down at her impressive rock, which boasts a massive old mine brilliant cut diamond that expert jewelers are already seeing a surge in demand for since the pop star said “yes.”
Before Swift openly spoke about the details of her sparkler and the proposal, Lubeck had kept mum about the career milestone. However, on Aug. 29, she posted an Instagram video with an inspiring lesson on perseverance.
“I believe that if someone says you can’t do something, you should prove them 110 percent wrong. I think if one door closes, you should kick the next one down. I think that if you have a dream, you should never, ever quit,” she encouraged.

She then concluded her message with a sweet nod to Swift and her fans with a reference from the pop star’s 2010 album, Speak Now. “For those of you have been with me since day one, thank you so much form the bottom of my heart. And to those of you who are new, I’m enchanted to meet you.”
Swift and Kelce, who began dating in 2023, announced their engagement on Aug. 26, in a joint Instagram post captioned: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”
Photos showed the Miss Americana star in a preppy Ralph Lauren striped dress and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in a coordinating look featuring a navy polo shirt, white shorts and loafers. The proposal took place in Kelce’s home with his garden transformed into a scene straight out of a fairytale all while they filmed Swift’s episode of the New Heights podcast, which was released on Aug. 13.
During her appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Swift said the athlete and husband-to-be “really crushed it” and completely knocked her off her feet.
“He went all out – 10 out of 10,” said Swift, who added that she’s looking forward to planning her wedding. “I want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after in terms of planning. I think it will be fun to plan.”
