Browns vs. Vikings live updates: Score, highlights for Week 5 game in London; Carson Wentz injures shoulder

The Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns are battling in London. Sportsbooks predicted this would be a low-scoring affair, but these offenses actually traded touchdowns in the opening quarter.

Dillon Gabriel drove the Browns offense 47 yards down the field on seven plays following a Jordan Mason fumble, and found fellow rookie Harold Fannin Jr. for a 1-yard score — Gabriel’s first passing touchdown as a starter. The Vikings responded with an eight-play, 82-yard drive that was capped by a halfback pass, as Cam Akers hit Josh Oliver for a 32-yard touchdown. Just before the first half ended, Cleveland converted on a 31-yard field goal to acquire a 10-7 halftime lead.

Vikings quarterback Carson Wentz took several big hits in the first two quarters, and he was seen heading to the locker room with trainers. The team has officially listed him as questionable to return with a left shoulder injury. Max Brosmer is Minnesota’s backup quarterback.

Will the Vikings avenge their loss in Dublin last week? Or will Gabriel win his first NFL start on a big stage? Follow along in the live blog below, as we break down this international game as it happens.
