The 9-year-old girl who was reported missing Saturday night in Lake George was found deceased in Ticonderoga Sunday, police say. New York State Police issued an Amber Alert for Frattolin just before 10 p.m. Saturday, saying she had been abducted in Lake George. In the alert, police said Frattolin was last seen around 9:40 Saturday night, reportedly in a white van traveling south on I-87 near Exit 22. Officials have identified the caller who reported the abduction as her father, 45-year-old Luciano Frattolin. Both are residents of Canada. As the case progressed, police said they found inconsistencies in the father’s account of the events, as well as the timeline he provided. New York State Police have taken jurisdiction over the investigation.
