Selena Gomez’s Lace Wedding Dress Had a Tribute to Benny Blanco

  • Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco tied the knot on September 27.
  • Gomez wore three white gowns by Ralph Lauren over the course of the day.
  • She shared a close-up of her second sheer lace wedding dress, revealing that the lace included an embroidered heart with her and Blanco’s initials.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding was nothing short of a Californian fairytale. Their September 27 ceremony took place in a sunlit, flower-filled garden in Santa Barbara in front of a guest list packed with A-list celebs. She was walked down the aisle by her grandfather. Everyone “sobbed” as she walked down the aisle. Taylor Swift gave a speech. She took to the dance floor barefoot. And, yes, naturally, she wore three custom bridal gowns courtesy of Ralph Lauren. Even more magical? It turns out, one of those dresses featured a completely adorable hidden tribute to her new husband.

In new photos from the big day posted on Instagram, Gomez included a close-up of her second dress, a sheer lace halter number. In the photo, a tiny personal detail was revealed hidden within the intricate floral lace: a small heart containing the initials “S + B.”

Gomez also wore a more traditional white halter gown for the ceremony, along with an off-the-shoulder gown with a full skirt for the reception. All three dresses got a moment in the spotlight in Gomez’s new post.

Just married.

In one dreamy photo, Gomez wore her first dress as she gazed into the garden from the patio. In another, she showed off the dress’s elegant train as she looked over her shoulder in the garden. Another photo showed Gomez and Blanco sharing a kiss on the dance floor.

Gomez also included a few snaps of their wedding cake, a classic heart-shaped cake with a figurine cake-topper and the words “just married” written in black cursive lettering.

The couple got engaged in December.
