Kaia Gerber shared that ‘a lot is being healed’ in her personal life thanks to her blossoming romance with actor Lewis Pullman – as she took a thinly-veiled swipe at the older men she has dated in the past.
The 24-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford has had a string of famous boyfriends including Austin Butler, 34, Pete Davidson, 31, and Jacob Elordi, 28.
It emerged this January that Kaia was dating Lewis, after news had broken that her relationship with Austin was over after three years.
Now for the first time, she has candidly discussed her flourishing love story with her new man, the dashing 32-year-old of Sleepless in Seattle actor Bill Pullman.
‘I really feel like if you have the opportunity to date a friend, do it, because it just is so much better,’ she said on the Therapuss podcast hosted by her pal Jake Shane.
She also bared her soul about the problems she had with her exes, saying she would ‘completely just change my personality and my values for someone.’

The ‘nepo baby’ supermodel explained: ‘I always dated people that were older than me, so I was very willing to give up everything. I was like: “I can show you I love you by completely giving up my life for you,” which is actually not how you build respect and trust, and is not good in the long run.
She noted that ‘you then you start to bring a little bit more of who you really are into the relationship and they’re like: “No, I liked that person before.”
However she took an evenhanded view of the situation, saying that her propensity to alter herself for men was ‘not their fault, it’s my fault, but yeah.’
Kaia then gushed over Lewis, saying: ‘I was literally talking about this the other day with Lew, where we were like: “The amazing thing about you is the person that ends up loving you is gonna be so obsessed with you, because you are such a specific person, that they’re just gonna like die for you, and die for every single part of you.”‘
Her advice to Jake, who has never been in a relationship, was: ‘I really feel like if you have the opportunity to date a friend, do it. ‘Cause it just is so much better.
Kaia elaborated: ‘Like I never wanna fight with my friends. I never wanna be mad at my friends. I respect my friends. It just is like a whole other thing and I think sometimes you forget that you like someone when you love them.’
Her tip is to ‘date someone that you would be friends with anyways. Don’t date someone just ‘cause you’re sexually attracted to them and are in lust with them.’
The Bottoms actress playfully added: ‘You should sleep with those people for sure, but you don’t need to make them your partners.’

Although Kaia and Lewis went public this January, it was reported they have been dating since December 2024 but initially concealed the romance from the public.
‘Kaia and Lewis have actually been together for a while now. They started dating in early December. They kept it under wraps until the news of her and Austin’s split came out. Kaia and Austin have been broken up since October,’ a source alleged.
‘They run in the same circle and have similar friend groups, and that’s how they were introduced,’ the insider added to Us Weekly. ‘Kaia likes that this relationship feels low-pressure and that Lewis is a very low-key guy.’

The Daily Mail learned from a bystander that Rande had a conversation with someone upstairs – likely Pete – who was ‘freaking out’ and had ‘scratched eyes.’
It emerged soon afterwards that Pete had decided to withdraw from the relationship and is ‘taking a break to work on his mental health,’ per an E! News insider.
