Amazon’s New Kindle Scribe Launch Sparks a Price Crash, Last Year’s Pen-Included Model Feels Like a Giveaway

Okay so at this point, we all understand what’s so great about having an e-reader, right? sure, some of us prefer having a physical book in hand and enjoy being able to display our collection on our shelves, but you can’t deny the convenience and practicality of having a Kindle. You can carry around thousand of books with you when you travel, not everyone has the space to keep their own little library in their home. Though, one issue a lot of e-readers have is the visibility. Staring at a backlit screen all day is not great for you, not to mention no amount of backlight will help when you’re on the beach with the sun shining down from directly overhead.

The Kindle Paperwhite solved this thanks to its enhanced screen that mimics the look and feel of reading a paperback. Now, the Kindle Scribe enhances things further by adding in a pen which can be used for writing, annotating, drawing, and more. Right now, Amazon happens to have the Kindle Scribe on sale for about 25% off.

The pen and screen are designed to mimic the look and feel of pen on paper. Each stroke will feel like the real thing. Plus, no need to charge or set up the pen. It just works.

Easily mark-up documents right on the Kindle Scribe. PDFs can be imported to and exported from the device. Expand the margins with Active Canvas to make room for your notes, or collapse it all to see the original page.
