Samsung isn’t discriminating between budget and flagship devices when it comes to the One UI 8 (Android 16) rollout. Today, the company started rolling out the update to the Galaxy Tab S9 lineup along with the Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A16.
As usual, the update made its debut in Korea for all three devices. For the Galaxy Tab S9, we expect the update to go live in other markets within the next few days, but the A15 and A16 may not get it elsewhere for a couple of weeks. That’s just how it is when it comes to major OS updates for Samsung’s budget phones.
To download the update, you will need to open your phone’s Settings app, navigate to the Software update menu, and tap the Download and install button. If you’re in no hurry, just wait and your device should automatically notify you when the update becomes available in your country.
