Benny Blanco’s Wedding Day Look Included a $1 Million Accessory

On the heels of his star-studded wedding to Rare Beauty founder Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco‘s stylist Chloé Badawy is giving all the details about his much-discussed ‘fit. The record producer wore a total of four custom looks for his big day, but the main event was in the accessories department: namely, his $1 million watch.

The timepiece was rendered in 18-carat white gold, with 21.39ct Ashoka-cut diamonds (58 stones) and 1.05ct Ashoka trillion-cut diamonds (four stones).

“Jacob & Co. made us a custom watch,” Badawy recently told E! News. “Baguette-cut diamonds. Thin, dainty, beautiful. I wanted it to look vintage-inspired. Every time it sparkled, I was just like, ‘Oh my God, oh my God, the diamonds!'”

Blanco paired the stunner with a diamond and platinum tennis bracelet that also came courtesy of Jacob & Co. In a press release, the jewelry brand wrote that the watch was designed to embody “both celebration and permanence,” per People.

The groom’s wedding ring, meanwhile, was another Jacob & Co. creation. On the inside of the gold band, the brand engraved the couple’s wedding date and included a pavé ruby and a pavé aquamarine—a.k.a. Gomez and Blanco’s birthstones, respectively.

As mentioned, the couple’s wedding was (unsurprisingly) star-studded, with the likes of Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran,  Zoe Saldaña, and Nicky and Paris Hilton in attendance.  Martin Short and Steve Martin (a.k.a. the bride’s Only Murders in the Building co-stars) were also there, and even gave a joint speech to kick things off at the rehearsal dinner.

“There was so much love in the room,” a source later told People. The happy couple were apparently “glowing all night” and “couldn’t stop smiling.”
