The Miami Dolphins’ win over the New York Jets last night might have felt bittersweet for fans as their top wide receiver Tyreek Hill suffered a season-ending knee injury midway through the win. For the better part of 24 hours, many have expressed concern that it might be the end of his entire career.
But Hill has no plans on hanging up the cleats. Taking to Instagram, Hill shared a photo where he indicated that he’s looking forward to working his way back from the injury.

In a more official capacity, his agent Drew Rosenhaus said that the surgery on Hill’s dislocated kneecap “went very well according to his doctors.” As a result, Hill will not need another surgery – which bodes extremely well for his future.
Rosenhaus said that the current goal for Hill is to focus on rehab in preparation for next season, preferably the start of next season.
“It’s about rehab and he will play next season. The realistic goal is the start of the season.”

That should come as a relief for Hill, who turns 32 this offseason but could theoretically have at least several years of high-level football remaining if he can make a full recovery.
2024 was statistically Hill’s worst season in a year where he started all games and he still put up more than respectable numbers with 81 receptions for 959 yards and six touchdowns along with another 53 rushing yards.
Prior to yesterday’s injury he was averaging over 66 yards per game.
