Lamar Jackson exited Sunday’s game in Kansas City with a hamstring injury.
Head Coach John Harbaugh said he did not have an update on the severity of the injury after the Ravens 37-20 loss.
He said he didn’t have an answer for when the injury happened or if he could have come back into the game had it not been so lopsided.
Jackson’s final play was when he scrambled and was sacked by George Karlaftis with 8:10 left in the third quarter.
The Ravens settled for a field goal to trim the Chiefs’ lead to 14. Kansas City responded with a 10-play drive to push its lead back to 17, and Jackson remained on the bench on the ensuing drive.
With Cooper Rush under center, the Ravens turned the ball over on downs on his first possession.
Jackson hasn’t missed a game due to injury since 2022, when he went down after 12 games. With Tyler Huntley under center, the Ravens still made the playoffs that year but were bounced in the Wild-Card round in Cincinnati.
Jackson was 14-of-20 for 147 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also had a costly fumble.
The Ravens offense cruised down the field for a touchdown on the opening drive. On the next four drives, Jackson was intercepted, the Ravens went three-and-out after two delay-of-game penalties and an intentional grounding, turned it over on downs, and Jackson fumbled.
Baltimore lost defensive starters Roquan Smith (hamstring) and Marlon Humphrey (calf) during the game, upping their total to six injured on that side of the ball.
Left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) started but came out of the game early and was replaced by Joe Noteboom.
