It’s another big weekend of soccer across Europe, and Saturday’s action did not disappoint.
The day kicked off with Brentford‘s 3-1 win at home to Manchester United. It was an exhilarating victory for Bees fans on the return of former star Bryan Mbeumo to the Gtech Community Stadium.
The stunning results didn’t stop there, as Eddie Nketiah scored in the 97th minute for Crystal Palace to seal a 2-1 victory over Liverpool, bringing the Reds’ undefeated start to a screeching halt. Chelsea faltered 3-1 against Brighton & Hove Albion after a Trevor Chalobah red card, and in the Madrid derby, Atlético Madrid delivered a statement win over Real Madrid, defeating their rivals 5-2.
