IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference has added three affiliate members in beach volleyball for the 2025-26 academic year. Boise State, Florida State and South Carolina will join Arizona, Arizona State and TCU in the Conference’s beach volleyball league.

Boise State recorded its first regular season-title and conference tournament title in 2025 as a member of the Southland Conference. The Conference tournament title punched the Broncos’ first ever ticket to the NCAA tournament. The Broncos have won 20+ matches in four straight seasons and have a 20-dual match winning streak at home dating back to the 2021 season.

Florida State advanced to its ninth straight NCAA tournament in 2025 as a member of the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association. The Seminoles have advanced to the tournament every year since its inception and have reached the National Championship three times, with their most recent trip coming in 2022.

South Carolina also joins the Conference from the CCSA. The Gamecocks have two NCAA tournament appearances in program history (2017, 2018). South Carolina also boasted a streak of being ranked in 72 consecutive polls in the national rankings dating from March 2017 through May 2023.

The 2026 Big 12 Beach Volleyball Championship will be hosted on campus at Arizona’s Bear Down Beach. TCU hosted the inaugural 2025 Big 12 Beach Volleyball Championship en route to winning the school’s first-ever beach volleyball national championship.

In addition to beach volleyball, the Big 12 also includes affiliate members in equestrian, gymnastics, lacrosse, rowing and wrestling.
