Taylor Swift is reportedly shutting the door on Blake Lively for good. After her latest stalker scare, the Life of a Showgirl artist doesn’t want have to do anything with the It Ends With Us actress.
On Sept. 15, Justin Lee Fisher, a former cop-turned-private eye, was arrested at Travis Kelce’s residence in Leawood, Kansas at 2 a.m. Fisher reportedly attempted to serve Swift with deposition papers for Justin Baldoni’s legal case. Swift reportedly agreed to the deposition before the incident. However, Swift’s lawyers wrote in a letter obtained by E! News, that “did not agree to a deposition” before noting that she would be available between Oct. 20 and Oct. 25 “if she is forced into a deposition.” A judge had ruled that Swift would not be deposed, two days before Fisher was arrested.
The incident had also left a mark on the singer after she was shaken up by stalker attempts. “For Taylor, that arrest was it,” a source told RadarOnline. She believes Blake opened the door to all of this, and watching a process server get handcuffed at Travis’ home because of Blake’s lawsuit was humiliating. It has ended whatever was left of their bond.”
The source continued, “Taylor has dealt with stalkers and security scares for years, but being dragged into Blake’s drama with Baldoni feels different. She sees it as betrayal. That arrest was the moment she decided she’s done.”
When news of Fisher’s arrest broke, Swift had also filed a five-year restraining order against her alleged stalker, Brian Jason Wagner. According to TMZ, the 45-year-old has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from the global superstar. Wagner must also stay away from the singer’s LA residence, car, and place of work. He reportedly showed up at her L.A. residence on consecutive days in May, and she said he was able to change his address on his driver’s license to her house.
A source familiar with the situation told the Daily Mail that Swift is very “concerned” about Wagner because of the “depraved lengths he has gone to to invade her privacy.” They added, “Her team has to be hyper vigilant because she has been stalked so many times and recently discovered she has been targeted by [online] groups on social media. She will change promotional plans or scale back if any threats she has received online are deemed to be serious by her security team. It’s horrible.”
Swift was dragged into the Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively case after Baldoni showed alleged texts from the Gossip Girl actress had referred to the singer as one of her “dragons.” “If you ever get around to watching Game of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi, and like her, I happen to have a few dragons,” the text read. “For better or worse, but usually better. Because my dragons also protect those I fight for. So really we all benefit from those gorgeous monsters of mine. You will too, I can promise you.”
The text messages had driven a wedge between Swift and a former member of her girl squad. A source told Page Six that Swift “will forever be furious at how Blake quite clearly was using her for clout and leverage in her dealings with Justin,” noting that “she really hates that Blake would even think like that, let alone write the things she did in that text.”
