Jake Paul’s next opponent is eight inches shorter than him.
From YouTubers to NBA players to former UFC fighters, you never know who Jake Paul is going to meet in the boxing ring.
Paul (12-1) has largely been criticized for hand-picking opponents years removed from their prime, or in Mike Tyson’s case, more than three decades.
Coming off a win over the 39-year-old Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June, Paul is set to meet one of the world’s best pound-for-pound boxers in Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, who is several weight classes below Paul and significantly smaller.
The 6’1 Paul loomed over the 5’5″ Davis in their comical first face-off.
One of the world’s strongest men is the latest to weigh in on the exhibition match, which will take place on Nov. 11 in Miami.

6’9″ Thor Bjornsson on Jake Paul: ‘He should try to fight someone like me’
The 2018 ‘World’s Strongest Man’ Thor Bjornsson is eight inches taller than Jake Paul.
Along with being a strongman, the 350 lb Bjornsson played the role of ‘The Mountain’ in ‘Game of Thrones’ and also won his boxing debut against fellow strongman Eddie Hall in 2022.
Bjornsson shared a fake image of Paul’s face-off with Davis, where ‘Tank’ was even shorter.
“Jake Paul fighting small people,” Bjornsson wrote on X.
“He should try to fight someone like me…” Bjornsson suggested.
“Let’s see how that goes!”
If they were ever to face off, the 6’9″ Bjornsson would tower over Paul just like he did to Davis.
Thor Bjornsson once trained with Conor McGregor
It’s been a decade since Bjornsson crossed paths with UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
This was when Bjornsson was over 400 lbs and McGregor, at the time, was still in the UFC featherweight division.
Despite their massive size difference, the 5’9″ McGregor moved around with ‘The Mountain’ in a viral video.
“Climb that mountain,” McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh said as they trained together.
