Detroit Lion vs. Baltimore Ravens, Monday, September 22, 2025

Second-year running back Sione Vaki, who missed the first two games with a hamstring injury, will make his 2025 regular season debut after being a full participant in practice this week. His return is likely why Reynolds is inactive tonight as the Lions are going with Jahmyr Gibbs, David Montgomery, Vaki and Jacob Saylors at running back against a Ravens’ defense that’s allowed 115.5 rushing yards per game through the first two weeks of the season.

Linebacker Trevor Nowaske will also play tonight after an elbow injury suffered in the preseason forced him to miss Detroit’s first two games. The return of Vaki and Nowaske is a big boost for Detroit’s special teams.

“Well, look, it’s going to help,” Lions head coach Dan Campbell said of their return this week. “It’s going to help, those are two good football players for us in the teams aspect.

“But they also bring things offensively and defensively that we can use. So, they do, they’ll give us a little bit of a bump here. Now, it’s their first game back, we understand that, but we look forward to them being back and being able to use them.”
