5-star guard Jason Crowe Jr. commits to Missouri

Jason Crowe Jr., one of the top overall players in the country, has announced his commitment to Missouri. Ranked 7th overall nationally according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, the 6-foot-3 shooting guard out of Inglewood High (CA) becomes the second highest-ranked player to ever choose the Tigers — only behind Michael Porter Jr. Crowe is, however, the highest-ranked player to commit to Dennis Gates since he becomes head coach at Mizzou in 2022.

Crowe, a five-star recruit in the 2026 class, chooses Missouri over several offers, most notably Kentucky. He also received scholarships from USC, Texas, Baylor, Alabama, Arkansas, and others.

He led the EYBL regular season in scoring, averaging 23.8 points per game.

Crowe becomes Missouri’s first commitment in the 2026 class. The Tigers are also actively pursuing players like Toni Bryant, Ethan Taylor, Tristan Reed, Aidan Chronister, and others.

In the 2027 class, Mizzou is already on the board with an early commitment from four-star PG Scottie Adkinson (No. 30 NATL).

More on Crowe’s game

I recently wrote the following after watching Crowe play at EYBL last weekend:

Jason Crowe Jr. might be the best tough shot maker in all of high school basketball. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard is an elite scorer. That’s what he does best. The shot-making ability at times is wildly impressive. He can also be scrappy defensively, creating steals, leading to easy buckets.

Jason Crowe Jr. is the son of former professional basketball player Jason Crowe, who spent 13 years overseas playing for a variety of clubs. Crowe Sr.’s most successful season came in 2008, where he was crowned NZNBL champion, MVP, Most Outstanding Guard, and assist champion.
