Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a rare public joint appearance. Stepping out together for the One805LIVE! 2025 concert benefiting first responders in Carpinteria, California on September 20, the couple wore coordinating navy looks while sharing a few sweet moments of affection.
Markle wore a navy shirtdress by one of her favorite designers, Carolina Hererra. Clinging onto the final days of summer, the backless sundress featured a retro halter neckline, a cinched waistline, large buttons, pockets, and a voluminous A-line skirt. Markle wore the dress with a pair of tan leather pumps, while she carried a beige handbag. She accessorized with several gold bangles and a Cartier watch and rocked a millennial side part, tossing her long waves to one side.

Meanwhile, her husband subtly matched her, watching a deep navy blazer and shirt along with a pair of dark blue jeans.
During their appearance, the couple were spotted chatting to people in the crowd before strolling off with their hands on each other’s backs.
The benefit, which was free for first responders, saw Trisha Yearwood and The Fray performing. Oprah Winfrey was also amongst the attendees.

This rare outing comes after Harry’s trip to the UK. It was a trip that saw him reuniting with his father, King Charles, for the first time in over a year. Speaking to People, Ailsa Anderson, Queen Elizabeth’s former press secretary, called the meeting “a building of trust.” “It shows the way forward,” a source added.
Following his meeting with his father, Harry said, “Yes, he’s great, thank you.”
According to singer Joss Stone, who spoke to Harry during his trip, he seemed “genuinely interested” in hearing about her move to the UK. “He asked about how we were settling back in,” Stone said. “He’s just very warm and down to earth, as always. Maybe Harry will move back too. That would be nice.”
