Cardi B candidly revealed she “ripped” her WAP while giving birth to her second baby, Wave, because he was “too big.”
“My second baby, he too big — he broke me,” Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, said during her appearance on Friday’s episode of “The Breakfast Club.”
“The first one, I had to stitch,” she continued, before clarifying that she was referring to her vagina. “Oh yeah, I ripped.”
According to the Mayo Clinic, “Minor tears are most common,” but “vaginal tears may occur if the baby’s head is too big for the vagina to stretch around. Or sometimes a tear might happen if the vagina doesn’t stretch easily.”
When asked by the co-host, JessHilarious, how she managed to use the bathroom afterward, the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker described the experience as “hard.”
“But that’s what I’m saying — now things are just a little different and I’m more experienced,” she continued.
“Like, the third one was so easy, so I’m expecting this one to be as easy as well, in the name of the Lord. That’s why I’m like, ‘I just did it last year. I can do it [again],’” she said, referencing her third child, Blossom, whom she shares with her estranged husband, Offset.
Cardi, 32, confirmed her fourth pregnancy on Wednesday after months of speculation. This time, she’s expecting a baby with her new boyfriend, Stefon Diggs.
“I’m excited, I’m happy, I feel like I’m in a good space,” the “Up” rapper told Gayle King on “CBS Mornings” at the time, noting she’s due before her tour starts in February.
“I felt like can I just say it on my own time? I’m not hiding,” she told the journalist of why she chose to keep the pregnancy a secret.
In addition to Wave, Blossom and her forthcoming baby, the Grammy winner is also mom to daughter Kulture, whom she also shares with the former Migos rapper, 33.
The former couple had an on-again, off-again relationship from 2017 to 2024.
After the births of their first two children, the duo welcomed Blossom, 1, after Cardi filed for divorce again from Offset in August.
