Stable One UI 8 update for Galaxy S25 lineup reaches the US

On September 15, Samsung released the stable version of One UI 8.0 (Android 16) to the Galaxy S25 series. Back then, the brand made it available only in Korea. Earlier today, the brand expanded the update to many other countries, including Germany, India, Spain, and the UK. Now, the tech giant has made the update available in the US too.

The update is 3,810.78MB in size and carries firmware version S93xUSQU5BYI3, as you can see in the screenshot below (via @DobleP020384536). This is the full-sized version for those using One UI 7 on their phones, but those who participated in the One UI 8 beta program should be getting the stable update as well.

To get the stable One UI 8 update on your Galaxy S25, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. You will also find the full Android 16 firmware in our database soon; you can use that to manually upgrade to One UI 8 using a Windows PC and Samsung’s Odin tool.

Even though One UI 8 isn’t as big an update as One UI 7, it does bring a ton of changes and improvements, which you can check out here. Speaking of updates, a few hours ago, One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25 was spotted on Samsung’s servers. You can read more about it here.
