2. What is the Chargers record?
The Chargers are now 4-2 after they snapped a two-game losing streak with Sunday’s win.
The Bolts had been reeling a bit after a 3-0 start but managed to get back on track with a much-needed victory in Week 6.
Entering Week 7, the Chargers remain in first place in the AFC West despite Denver also holding a 4-2 record. The Chargers, of course, have the tiebreaker due to their Week 3 home win over the Broncos.
The Chiefs are right behind the Chargers, too, at 3-3 as Kansas City has won three of its past four games. The Raiders also won Sunday to improve to 2-4 as every AFC West team won on Sunday.
While the Bolts sit at 3-0 in division play, they are also 4-0 in conference play, which will be a massive factor in determining potential playoff tiebreakers down the road.
3. Who stood out in the win?
Herbert, of course, as he threw for 264 yards and two touchdowns with a passer rating of 112.2.
And running back Kimani Vidal had a career day with 138 total yards, including 124 on the ground, to go along with a receiving touchdown.
But it was actually McConkey who tallied the Chargers highest overall Pro Football Focus grade on offense with a mark of 79.3
McConkey, who had seven catches for 100 yards and a touchdown, hit the century mark for the first time this season and has now scored touchdowns in back-to-back games.
Defensively, cornerback Benjamin St-Juste had the team’s highest defensive PFF grade at 82.3.
St-Juste recorded his first interception of the season on Sunday, one of three picks by the Bolts defense. Tony Jefferson had one on Miami’s second offensive play while Derwin James, Jr.’s pick was on the Dolphins final offensive play of the game.
Odafe Oweh and Tuli Tuipulotu each had sacks on defense.
