The Dodgers open as a heavy +350 favorite to win their third straight World Series trophy in 2026 after defeating the Blue Jays in series that will go down as an instant classic.

Oddsmakers aren’t quite as optimistic about the 2025 American League champs despite how close they came to sealing a win in Game 7.

Fresh off a World Series loss, the Blue Jays have closer to the middle of the pack than they are the top off the odds board, sitting at 20/1 to go back-to-back, which is tied with the Braves and Padres for the eighth-best odds at FanDuel.

After disappointing finishes in 2025, the New York baseball clubs are expected to be back in the mix next year.

The Yankees have the second-best odds (+700) behind the vaunted Dodgers, and the only other team that’s ahead of the Mets (11/1) is the Phillies (10/1), who are facing a number of tough decisions with their aging roster, including slugger Kyle Schwarber.

Two teams that finished well below .500 and nowhere near a playoff spot — the Braves and Orioles — are being anticipated to bounce back in 2026, with both teams among the top 15 World Series contenders.
