2025 Week 3 High-Stakes Waiver Sleepers

Here are your high-stakes Waiver Wire sleeper additions for Week 3! These players are available in many deeper formats and can help improve your roster. Some players are obvious additions, while others are more valuable in deeper formats or high-stakes leagues like the FFPC and NFFC.

This is a great week to churn your roster and add players who we underrated in drafts and are seeing unexpectedly high usage. Prioritize WR and QB this week. There are some interesting additions for managers who lost Joe Burrow (12 weeks) to a potential season-ending injury, and will be missing players like Brock Purdy, Justin Fields (concussion protocol), and Jayden Daniels (knee) in the short term.

Running Backs

Blake Corum (RB, LAR) — Corum is moving up into elite handcuff territory. Kyren Williams is still the starter in LA, but Corum is carving out a nice role. Sean McVay seems more open to using multiple backs on a weekly basis than at any point of his LA career. Corum had a rushing score and averaged 8.8 yards per carry to Williams’ 3.9. Keep an eye on this situation and add Corum anywhere you can. The McVay RB1 job has been a fantasy football ATM machine.

DJ Giddens (RB, Ind) — Direct handcuff to one of fantasy football’s most valuable RB roles. If Jonathan Taylor were to miss time, Giddens would handle a high-volume two-way role.

Kenneth Gainwell (RB, Pit) — Gainwell continues to be heavily involved in the Pittsburgh backfield despite Jaylen Warren dominating the fantasy production. Given Kaleb Johnson‘s recent miscue and apparent place in the Steelers RB pecking order, Gainwell should be heavily rostered in deep formats.
