There’s a ton on the line Sunday at the 2025 FedEx St. Jude Championship, and while the $3.6 million winner’s share is certainly attractive, the opportunity to continue competing for larger sums in remaining two legs of the FedEx Cup Playoffs is immensely important, too. Most eyes will be on the top of the leaderboard in Round 4 with Tommy Fleetwood out in front seeking his first career victory as Justin Rose, Scottie Scheffler and J.J. Spaun breathe down his neck, but the competition continues all the way down through the bottom as golfers attempt to end the weekend among the top 50 in the FedEx Cup standings.
Those whose point totals award them such a designation will not only move on to next week’s BMW Championship but automatically qualify for all eight signature events in the 2026 PGA Tour season. Entering Sunday a number of notable names — Rickie Fowler, Wyndham Clark and Jordan Spieth, among others — are on the bubble. While Fowler has himself just over the line as Round 4 begins, Clark and Spieth both began the week among the top 50 but must step their games up across the final 18 holes to get inside the number.
