Each club has until 5 p.m. ET on Monday, July 28, to come to terms with its Draft selections. If a player has exhausted his collegiate eligibility, he can sign at any time up until one week prior to the next year’s Draft.
5. Cardinals: Liam Doyle, LHP, Tennessee
Pick value: $8,134,800
Signing bonus: $7,250,000
St. Louis signed Doyle, the reigning NCAA D-I strikeout leader, to a below-slot deal. Doyle’s fastball sits at 96 mph and touches 100 mph, and is considered the best heater in the class.

22. Braves: Tate Southisene, SS, Basic HS (NV)
Pick value: $3,983,900
Signing bonus: $2,622,500
Atlanta lured Southisene, its first selection, away from a commitment to Southern Cal with an underslot deal. The shortstop is the younger brother of Cubs prospect Ty Southisene, whom Chicago signed drafted in the fourth round and signed with an overslot deal last summer.

38. Mets: Mitch Voit, 2B, Michigan**
Pick value: $2,569,400
Signing bonus: $1,750,000
The Mets signed Voit, their first selection in this Draft, to a below-slot deal. One of the best college hitters in the class, Voit draws comparisons to another former Wolverine, two-time All-Star Jake Cronenworth.
