The 2025 FedEx Cup Playoffs got off to an exciting start when Justin Rose outlasted J.J. Spaun in a playoff in the FedEx St. Jude Championship, and the playoffs continue with the 2025 BMW Championship this week. The top 50 players in the FedEx Cup standings will head to Caves Valley Golf Club outside of Baltimore, where the first round begins on Thursday. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler still holds a significant lead atop the standings, with the top 30 players after this weekend advancing to the Tour Championship.
Scheffler is the +230 favorite (risk $100 to win $230) in the 2025 BMW Championship odds, while Rory McIlroy is +700 after sitting out last week. Other 2025 BMW Championship contenders include Tommy Fleetwood (20-1), Xander Schauffele (20-1), Patrick Cantlay (22-1) and Justin Thomas (22-1). Rose is a 40-1 longshot following his win last week, and Spaun is just ahead of him at 30-1. Sepp Straka, who opened at 40-1, withdraw on Monday for personal reasons.
Before locking in your 2025 BMW Championship picks, you NEED to see the golf predictions and 2025 BMW Championship projected leaderboard from the proven computer model at SportsLine.
Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up over $8,500 on its best bets since June 2020, nailing tournament after tournament.
Now, with the 2025 BMW Championship field locked in, SportsLine simulated the tournament 10,000 times, and the results were surprising.
One major surprise the model is calling for at the FedEx St. Jude Championship 2025: Tommy Fleetwood, who has the third-shortest odds in the field, stumbles this week and barely cracks the top 10! Another pick: J.J. Spaun (+3000) makes a strong run at the title. He’s a target for anyone looking for a HUGE payday!
The model is also targeting THREE other longshots at 30-1 or longer to make strong runs at the title! Anyone who backs these golfers could hit it BIG. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who they are before locking in any 2025 BMW Championship picks!
